A Comment, A Comment, My Kingdom for a Comment

When I began this blog last February, I invited my readers to “help me make it a place where people can find hope, inspiration and ideas for dealing with their difficulties…to create a space in which people can find ways to turn their nightmares into miracles.” Initially, I received some very nice comments from friends and relatives encouraging me in my endeavor. After the first few posts however, there have been few comments. My passion for the purpose of this blog is as strong as ever, but it is difficult to know where to take it without feedback. Please help me to determine what is working and what is not by commenting on the posts. Let me know what thoughts you have found helpful, and feel free to share insights that you think might be helpful to others. My intention for this blog was to create an exchange. In order for it to be successful, others have to participate. So please, comment.

  1. I am reading your blog for the first time (a friend emailed it to me). My sister has just been diagnosed with ALS. I'm sure you can imagine what emotions she and our family are going through. Your blog is inspirational. Do not stop just because people are not commenting. Remember your words could be helping many. Blessings to you and your family

  2. I am Linda Sheila's Sister I was diagnosed in Feb 2010. I agree your blog is inspiring. Some people may just read your words, because they cannot use their hands. ALS has attacked my right hand and arm, my left hand is weakening. It is very frustrating I am a note taker, I love sharing inspirational thoughts in hand written letters, cannot do that right now. I am praying each day that Gods grace will keep me going strong. Keep doing what you are doing you have helped encourage me.

  3. I blog every day (I started in March), and I know share your frustration about comments. Are you making an effort to publicize this blog at all? A good way to do that is by writing to big bloggers who are covering similar topics and asking to guest post, or just starting a conversation with them.

  4. One suggestion to get more comments is to ask very simple, closed-ended questions. Sometimes it's easier for people to provide answers to specific questions instead of trying to figure out something to say. And don't be discouraged!

  5. I would like to thank Ultimate Health Home for reversing my father's Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). My father’s ALS condition was fast deteriorating before he started on the ALS Herbal medicine treatment from Ultimate Health Home. He was on the treatment for just 6 months and we never thought my father will recover so soon. He has gained some weight in the past months and he is able to walk with no support. You can contact them at ultimatehealthhome@gmail.com
